New Rates take effect.
Electric rates are increasing due to rising
coal and coal transportation prices, new environmental controls and
renewable energy production, and energy conservation and efficiency
measures. Most members will see an approximate 4.5% increase. A
member using 1,000 kWh will see a $5.93 increase. A complete Rate
Schedule will be printed in June’s newsletter
